Eboman (Jeroen Hofs, 1973) is a Dutch musician, producer and visual artist. Eboman specialises in the production of audio-visual sample compositions, the development of audio-visual sampling software and hardware and performances as a DVJ or with his SenSorSuit. Since 1995, Eboman has realized more than 500 performances all over the world, at highly diverse venues such as the Roskilde festival (DK), the Lincoln Centre NYC, Sonar (SP), the Museum of Modern Art Barcelona, the ICA London, the Liquid Room (JAP) and the Centre Pompidou Paris. As a director, he has appeared in many different media festivals with his Sample madnesS films.

In 2008 Eboman won the Webby Award, the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet including Websites, interactive advertising and online film and video.  Recently Eboman developed Senna, a playful video sampling programme especially suitable for children’s sample madness.
