Elisabeth is founder and partner of bureau M.E.S.T. the urban fertilizer, bureau voor Maatschappelijke Experimentele Stedelijke Transformatie (office for Social Experimental Urban Transformation). Out of Office worked with agency M.E.S.T. for the New Retail Reality Report focusing on the trend ReBalance.
Elisabeth started her professional career in 2004 at Braaksma&Roos architects while finishing her studies Architecture at the University of Technology Delft. After three years of experience in transforming and renovating historical contexts, she joined Merkx+Girod architects in 2007 to specialize her knowledge of architecture within interior design. In the same year she started her own office planB., focusing on the complementing values of cities and countryside. In 2009 while developing her own business she moved to Steenhuis+Meurs to broaden her scope onto analyzing urban fabrics and landscape. In 2010 she focuses on developing new strategies towards a sustainable urban transformation by strategic, tactic and operational approach and started bureau M.E.S.T. the urban fertilizer with her partners.
